§01 The difference

From flat drawing to lifelike render

A 3D visualisation is a photorealistic render of your renovation or new build, so you can see the end result before construction begins. It supports your own decision-making and helps with the aesthetic review or the municipality. A visualisation starts from €400 and is typically ready in 1 to 2 weeks.

A 2D floor plan shows the dimensions, but nobody can picture the end result from it. Drag the line and see how that same drawing transforms into a photorealistic 3D render, the difference between guessing and knowing exactly how your renovation will look.

Basic

3D model from the construction drawing

We translate your floor plans, elevations and sections into an accurate 3D model. Walls, roofs, window frames and heights are correct to the millimetre, so the image matches what will actually be built.

  • Built from your own drawing or design
  • Existing situation and new plan in one model
  • Dimensionally accurate, no artistic assumptions
MODEL · 3D
Realism

Materials and textures

Brick, render, timber, zinc, glass or concrete. We apply the correct materials and colours to the model, exactly as you envision them or as the aesthetic review wants to see them.

  • Real material choices, not just flat surfaces
  • Colours customisable to your preferences
  • Pointing, finish and texture match
TEXTURE · PBR
Atmosphere

Lighting, day and evening

Light makes the difference between flat and lifelike. We apply realistic sun position, shadows and interior lighting, and can deliver the same image in both daytime and evening atmosphere.

  • Sun position at location and time
  • Day and evening variant available
  • Soft shadows and reflections
LIGHT · HDRI
Context

Surroundings and context

A render in a vacuum convinces no one. We place your renovation in context, between the neighbours, the street and the garden, so the municipality and aesthetic review can see how it fits into the surroundings.

  • Adjacent buildings and streetscape
  • Garden, paving and greenery
  • Planting and people for a sense of scale

§03 Types of visuals

One design, multiple views

From exterior view to interior and a 360-degree walkthrough. These are the types of images we create.

EXTERIOR · 4K

Exterior view

The image most people start with. Your renovation or new build seen from the street or garden, with real materials, light and the surrounding buildings around it.

  • From street or garden side
  • Materials and colours true to life
  • Including surroundings for context
INTERIOR · 4K

Interior

A look inside. How light falls in the new living room, how the open kitchen or extension looks from within. Ideal for experiencing the layout and atmosphere in advance.

  • Daylight and interior lighting
  • Furniture and materials for atmosphere
  • View from the room to the outside
BIRD'S EYE · 4K

Bird's eye view

The entire plan seen from above. Perfect for showing the relationship to the neighbours, the garden and the roof in a single image, for example with a roof extension or extension.

  • Overview of plan and plot
  • Roofs and outdoor spaces visible
  • Strong for convincing the aesthetic review
360 DEGREES

360 degrees and walkthrough

An interactive walkthrough in which you look around and move through the home yourself. On your phone or simply in the browser. The most immersive way to experience your plan.

  • View from every angle
  • Shareable via a simple link
  • Shareable as an online walkthrough

      §07 Comparison

      With a 3D render or just a 2D drawing

A 2D drawing shows the dimensions, a 3D render shows the result. This is what a visualisation adds.

      Feature
      With 3D visualisation
      Just a 2D drawing
      Making decisions about your design
      You see the result
× You need to be able to picture it
Convincing the aesthetic review and municipality
      Assessed more quickly as positive
      More difficult to estimate
      Spotting errors in advance
      Visible before construction
      × Only visible during construction
      Assessing materials and colours
      True-to-life visualisation
      Only as hatching
      Include co-owners and homeowners' association
      Everyone sees the same thing

      §09 How it works

      Five steps to your render

One dedicated point of contact, a tight schedule and no surprises. Usually completed in 1 to 2 weeks.

      STEP 01

      Design & drawing

We start from your drawing or design. If you do not have one yet, we create it first or work with you to establish what your renovation will look like. You then receive a fixed-price quote.

      STEP 02

      build 3D model

We translate the floor plan, elevations and sections into an accurate 3D model. Walls, roofs, window frames and heights match your design, so the visual corresponds exactly with what will be built.

      STEP 03

      Materials and light

We apply the correct materials, colours and textures to the model and set up realistic lighting, including sun position and optionally a daytime and evening atmosphere. You have a say in the camera angles.

      STEP 04

      Rendering

We render the model at high resolution and refine it for colour, contrast and atmosphere. You receive a first version for review and submit your corrections during the revision rounds.

      STEP 05

      Completion

You receive the final images in high resolution, separately or together with your design. Ready for aesthetic review, the municipality, co-owners or your own presentation.

      §10 Questions

      Frequently asked questions

      Q01What is a 3D visualisation?

A photorealistic image of your design, so you can see in advance what the renovation or new build will look like.

      Q02What does a 3D visualisation cost?

One exterior view starts at €400. Multiple views with interior around €700, a 360-degree walkthrough with animation up to €1.200.

      Q03Do I need a design for this?

A drawing or design helps. If we do not yet have one, we create it first or align it with you together.

Q04Does it help with the building permit or aesthetic review?

Yes. A good visualisation speeds up aesthetic review approval and helps convince the municipality and any co-owners.

      Q05How long does it take?

We typically deliver renders within 1 to 2 weeks, separately or together with the design.

Q06Do you work across the Netherlands?

Yes. We create visualisations remotely based on your details, wherever you are in the Netherlands.
